For the last decade, Los Cabos has seduced luxury travelers with its unique beaches and perfect, year-round weather. That’s why forgetting your swimsuit is not an option. This tropical paradise is more dynamic than ever before. While we all know that fishing is one of the top sports here in this region, there are also many must-do activities to enjoy and make your vacation complete with some saltwater therapy. Here are our top picks for water activities:
1. Stand Up Paddle
“SUP” is the fastest growing water sport in the world. It’s a great workout and a fun way to explore up close the Sea of Cortez. Making it perfect for both the fitness enthusiast and the outdoors lover. We highly recommend CABO SUP for the ultimate experience on the open seas.
2. Sunset Cruises
Set sail for a fun and romantic sunset tour Cabo. Cruise around Land’s End and make sure to capture a few photos of the famous Baja Peninsula’s “El Arco.” Sail by the legendary Lover’s Beach and finish at open seas, where the captain will pause for you to take in a moment in pure nature and if in season, witness a spectacular show of whales and dolphins. We’ve partner up with the best of the best. And work closely with Cabo Adventures, as they are known to spoil our guests. You will be served fine wines and authentic Mexican delicacies to make the sunset experience even more special.
3. Snorkel & Diving
Perfect, year-round weather makes for the waters here in Cabo very inviting for both a casual swim or a more underwater-adventure, exploring the marine life. Nicknamed by Jacques Cousteau as “The World’s Aquarium,” it’s outstanding variety of marine life makes this region exceptional for snorkeling and scuba diving. Cabo San Lucas’ bay has great sightings. But this could be a great opportunity to set out and explore other pristine beaches like Santa Maria and Chileno Bays, located in the Tourist Corridor and Cabo Pulmo out on the East Cape (one of North America’s only living coral reefs). Look forward to an exciting day under the sea with our partners Cabo Adventures.
4. Surfer’s Paradise, in Mexico
Cabo is a year-round surfing destination. If you chose to stay nearby the staple places of Cabo and surf with a bigger audience, then Zipper’s at Costa Azul, would be a fun place to catch some waves. It’s located on the Tourist Corridor on the way to San José del Cabo. But if you’re in the mood for a quick surfing getaway, then the primal beaches of Rancho Pescadero and Los Cerritos are ideal for a more serene experience. Both regions offer lessons for the beginners and the best breaks for the more advanced.
As always, we work with the best to provide you the most memorable experiences. Contact our concierge staff to book a “refreshing” or romantic adventure.
